Ok, ‘suddenly’ is a strong word representing something that is immediate and not necessarily expected. So the term suddenly may not be the appropriate term in my situation. It does, however, go oh-so well with the term ‘sabbatical’ so I couldn’t resist. Let’s just say my Sudden Sabbatical was definitely intentional yet not so thoroughly planned.
